H-2B Employer Data Hub
The H-2B program allows U.S. employers or U.S. agents (“H-2B petitioners”) who meet specific regulatory requirements to bring foreign nationals to the United States to fill temporary nonagricultural jobs. The employment must be of a temporary nature for a limited time, such as a one-time occurrence, seasonal, peak load need, or intermittent need. There is a statutory numerical limit, or “cap,” on the number of foreign workers who may receive an H-2B visa, or otherwise be granted H-2B status, during a fiscal year.
The H-2B Employer Data Hub includes employer data for cases that were adjudicated in fiscal years 2015 through 2023 (quarter 4). On the hub, you can query data by cap fiscal year, employer (petitioner) name, city, state, zip code, worksite state, cap type, North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code, and Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) code. The H-2B Employer Data Hub has data on consular processing, wage levels, and the first adjudicative decision that USCIS made on petitions for initial and continuing employment. It identifies employers by the last four digits of their tax identification number. You can download annual and query-specific data in Excel or .csv file format.
