The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) International Operations Division and Public Engagement Division invited any interested individuals to participate in a teleconference on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm (Eastern) to receive an update on the Refugee and Asylee Follow-to-Join (Form I-730) pilot program that was launched overseas by USCIS and the Department of State (DOS) last year.

USCIS to begin accepting requests for consideration of deferred action on August 15, 2012
Since June 4, 2012, individuals outside the U.S. who have been found inadmissible for certain visas by a U.S. consular officer and seek to waive an inadmissibility ground should no longer apply for a waiver at their foreign location, but should file requests directly to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) by mailing the application to a USCIS Lockbox facility in the United States.
