Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Somalia

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) invited you to participate in a webinar on Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Somalia on Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021, from 2–3 p.m. Eastern.

On July 22, 2021, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) published a Federal Register notice announcing the extension and re-designation of TPS for Somalia for 18 months, effective Sept. 18, 2021, through March 17, 2023.

During the webinar, USCIS provided an overview of TPS, including an explanation of eligibility requirements and filing tips.
