Learn How Certain Afghan Nationals Can Apply for the Re-Parole Application Process
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) invites you to our national engagement on the application process for certain Afghan nationals to apply for a new period of parole, or re-parole, and employment authorization. Certain Afghan nationals will be able to request re-parole and employment authorization either through a USCIS online account or by filing a paper application. Join us on Thursday, June 8, 2023, from 2-3 p.m. Eastern and hear from our subject-matter experts on the process and how to apply.
As a reminder, Afghan nationals must also update their address each time they move to receive important documents and notices from USCIS, even if they are moving to a temporary location.
In case you missed it, you can watch a recording of our May 15, 2023, national engagement for Afghan nationals to help prepare for the application process and review possible available immigration options. For those who have not already done so, we encourage you to consider applying for a permanent immigration status, such as asylum and special immigrant visa-based lawful permanent residence. For more information about these immigration options, visit uscis.gov/allieswelcome.
