Direct Filing Addresses for Form I-360, Immigrant Petition for Amerasian, Widow(er) or Special Immigrant

ALERT: As a reminder, VAWA self-petitioning abused spouses, children, and parents must file Form I-485 and Form I-360, Petition for Amerasian, Widow(er), or Special Immigrant, at the Nebraska Service Center.

If you live outside the U.S., you cannot file Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, either concurrently or after we approve your Form I-360. Instead, you may apply for an immigrant visa at a U.S. Consulate if we approve your Form I-360.

Petitions that are not mailed to the appropriate filing location may experience processing delays.

Amerasian
If you: Is concurrent Form I-485 filing allowed? Then file your Form I-360 at the:

Were born after 1950 and before Oct. 22, 1982, and are self-petitioning or petitioning on behalf of an Amerasian

If a visa number is available

Widow(er) of a U.S. Citizen 
If: And: Then file your Form I-360 at the:

 

  • You were married to a U.S. citizen at the time of the U.S. citizen’s death;
  • Your spouse’s death was less than two years  from the date of filing Form I-360;
  • You were not legally separated from your U.S. citizen spouse at the time of their death; and
  • You have not remarried
You are filing Form I-360 with Form I-485
