U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) invited you to participate in a webinar for librarians on Thursday, March 6, 2014, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 p.m. (Eastern) to discuss our educational resources for citizenship and naturalization process.
During this webinar, representatives from the Public Engagement Division and the Office of Citizenship gave an overview of various citizenship and naturalization resources and activities. They also discussed how librarians can assist immigrant patrons without unintentionally providing legal advice (commonly known as the unauthorized practice of immigration law). USCIS officials were available to answer your questions after the presentation.
