TPS Designation, EADs Extended for Haiti
The Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has extended the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) designation for Haiti for an additional 18 months, from Jan. 23, 2016 through July 22, 2017. The extension allows current TPS beneficiaries of Haiti to re-register for TPS in accordance with the Federal Register notice. DHS has also automatically extended the validity of Employment Authorization Documents issued under the TPS designation of Haiti for six months, through July 22, 2016.
