Preparing for Federal Funding Opportunities

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) invited interested stakeholders to participate in a stakeholder engagement on Thursday, January 14, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. (Eastern) titled “Preparing for Federal Funding Opportunities.” During this engagement, representatives from the Office of Citizenship Grants Division provided an overview of past years of the Citizenship and Integration Grant Program. They also noted that two new funding opportunities will be published in the near future. A representative from Health and Human Services grants.gov also joined the teleconference, and provided an overview of grants.gov, including how to register, how to find funding opportunities and tips on submitting a timely and complete funding application. Following the presentations, stakeholders were invited to ask questions. Stakeholders can submit further questions on the grant program to citizenshipgrantprogram@uscis.dhs.gov.
