New and Revised Memorandums of Understanding for E-Verify Users
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) invited you to participate in a stakeholder teleconference on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 and Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Eastern) to discuss the upcoming release of new and revised Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) for E-Verify users. The new and revised MOUs will not be released until December 8; however, a preview of the MOUs is available here.
USCIS held two stakeholder sessions:
- Revised MOUs: The first session was for general users of E-Verify. During this engagement, USCIS officials provided an overview of the revisions made to the existing E-Verify MOUs, and were available to answer questions.
- New MOUs: The second session was for Web services participants (i.e., those who use a Web services access to E-Verify. The Web services access method requires a company to develop software that interfaces with E-Verify). During this engagement, USCIS officials provided an overview of the three new MOUs for Web service participants, and were available to answer questions.
