Latest Change In Green Cards
USCIS recently changed the appearance of certain Permanent Resident Cards (Form I-551), also known as green cards. An increasing number of green cards are being issued with the words “Signature Waived” in place of the lawful permanent resident’s actual signature. Read the USCIS Web Alert for more information.
These cards are acceptable documents for Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, as long as they are unexpired, and reasonably appear to be genuine and to relate to the person presenting them.
