USCIS conducted an Intergovernmental Affairs Quarterly teleconference on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm (Eastern). USCIS provided updates on recent activities pertaining to SAVE, E-Verify, Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification, Temporary Protected Status for Syria, and other areas of interest. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) provided an update on their planned automation of Form I-94, Arrival/Departure Record.
CBP also shared information regarding the implementation schedule and discussed the CBP website that will allow individuals to retrieve their electronic I-94 Arrival/Departure number.
