U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) invited interested stakeholders to participate in a stakeholder engagement on Tuesday, February 23, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. (Eastern) titled “Implementing Quality Citizenship Instruction.” During this engagement, representatives from the Office of Citizenship Grants Division highlighted the importance of quality citizenship instruction and discussed the qualities of an ideal curriculum. The Office of Citizenship also provided a live demonstration of the Citizenship Resource Center, and reviewed several USCIS resources related to quality citizenship instruction, including Elements of Program Quality (PDF, 671.99 KB), Professional Development Guide (PDF, 531.48 KB), and Guide to Adult Citizenship Education Content Standards and Foundation Skills (PDF, 181.92 KB).
