Immigration Relief for Victims of Human Trafficking and Other Serious Crimes
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) invited any interested members of the law enforcement community to participate in a web-ex training session on May 1, 2013 from 1:00-2:30 pm (Eastern).
During this training subject matter experts from the USCIS Vermont Service Center and Office of Policy and Strategy provided an overview of the various forms of immigration relief available to victims of human trafficking and other serious crimes. They also discussed in great detail the role and responsibilities of law enforcement officials in the T and U visa certification process. A question and answer session followed the presentation.
