Immigration Relief for Victims of Human Trafficking and Other Serious Crimes
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Blue Campaign cordially invited interested members of the law enforcement community to participate in a web-ex training session on January 16, 2013 from 1:00-3:00 pm (Eastern).
During this training subject matter experts from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) provided an overview of the various forms of immigration relief available to victims of human trafficking and other serious crimes. Specifically, subject matter experts discussed the role and responsibilities of law enforcement officials as it relates to requesting continued presence and the T and U visa certification process. A question and answer session followed the presentation.
