First National Vietnamese-Language Public Engagement
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) invited interested stakeholders to participate in our first national Vietnamese (Giao tiep) stakeholder engagement on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Pacific). This free event was the first in a series of multilingual public engagements and provided an opportunity for Vietnamese-speakers to engage with USCIS in their own language.
Each Giao tiep session focused on an immigration-related topic and included a presentation and question and answer session with USCIS officials. The first Giao tiep session included a presentation on the naturalization process. USCIS representatives was on hand to answer your questions in Vietnamese about becoming a United States citizen.
Please note these sessions are not intended to provide legal advice or case specific information.
