Communicable Diseases of Public Health Significance
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) invited any interested individuals to participate in a teleconference seminar for civil surgeons on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm (Eastern). During the session, USCIS discussed the portion of Form I-693 and the immigration medical exam related to communicable diseases of public health significance.
Subject matter experts from USCIS and the Department of Health and Human Services’ Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) were available to respond to civil surgeons’ questions. This was the second in a series of seminars on topics related to Form I-693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record and the immigration medical exam.
