The USCIS Office of Citizenship and Office of Public Engagement conducted an engagement on Wednesday, December 14 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm (EST) to discuss citizenship education strategies for older applicants. The engagement focused on common barriers encountered by older applicants as they prepare for citizenship, promising practices in providing appropriate educational instruction, and other tools and resources to help these individuals prepare for the naturalization process and test.
